A Safe & Fun Place for Kids to Grow

At Coast City Church, we love kids! We believe church should be a place where families worship together and where kids have space to learn about Jesus on their level. That’s why we created Coast City Kids.

What Sundays Look Like


Start Together

Kids stay with their families for the first part of the service. They’ll join in worship and prayer, experiencing church right alongside you.


Coast City Minute

In the middle of the service, we take a short 3-minute break for coffee, water, and fellowship. During this time (around 11:00am), kids are dismissed and escorted to Coast City Kids.


Kids’ Time

Once there, your child will hear a Bible lesson taught at their level, and enjoy something hands-on — like a craft, coloring sheet, or activity — that helps them connect with the story.


Back Together

After the sermon and service wrap-up, kids will be brought back to the main hall so you can leave together.

Check-In

We want Coast City Kids to be fun and safe for everyone. Here’s how check-in works:

  1. Stop by the Coast City Kids station at the entrance before service.

  2. Write down your child’s name and your contact number on the clipboard.

  3. Make a nametag for your child so our volunteers can call them by name.

  4. Kids will head out with our Coast City Kids team during Coast City Minute.

Helpful Info

  • Who can join? Potty-trained kids through 6th grade.

  • Kids are welcome in the whole service too! If you’d prefer your child to stay with you for the entire gathering, that’s totally fine. Coast City is a family-friendly space, and we’re glad to have kids with us—whether they’re in Coast City Kids or sitting by your side.

Home + Church

We believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in a child’s life.

Our role is to come alongside you.


We like to picture it like an oyster shell:

  • The top shell and bottom shell work together to create a safe place for the pearl to grow.

  • In the same way, home and church work together to provide a safe place for kids to grow in their faith.


That’s the heart of Coast City Kids.
